Forest

The hunting period in the forest of Cameroon extends from December to end of July but is best during the rainy season. Tis means from end of April up to the end of July. A small dry season occurs in some parts of Cameroon. A successful hunt will be best when there are occasional rainy and dry periods. The rains make the animals move and they will come out after the rains to dry themselves in the open areas. We hunt on two  areas in the forest zone of Cameroon. Humidity is high but temperatures are rather cool at night (64°F or 18°C) and during the day, the temperature varies around 77°F or 25°C or slightly higher when in open areas.
